Recently, many studies appear on WMNs (Wireles Mesh Networks), in which multi-hop communications are performed among stationary nodes via wireless links. In WMNs, due to using wireless medium, communication quality of links significantly changes as time passes. To overcome this fluctuation, several dynamic link metrics have been proposed that represent the quality of links as link metrics so that the shortest paths avoid low-quality links. However, because link metrics are designed to follow relatively slow metric changes, it is not sufficient for real network to supply stable communications. In this study, we propose a method that builds a WMN in multichannel environment and switches the forwarding links synamically in case of congestion to improve throughput and stability of communications. We evaluate the proposed method through simulation experiments.

A System Supporting Moral Education for Lower-grade Schoolchildren

本研究では，小学校低学年を対象に自発的かつ継続的に取り組ませることにより，社会生活で必要な習慣づけを支援する道徳教育支援システムを構築する．我々は児童の自発的な継続支援のために，児童がグループ単位で競争し，日々の達成度に応じたご褒美となる動植物の画像を得られる仕組みを用いてシステムを設計・開発した．そして，本システムを評価するための予備実験として，児童が本システムを正しく理解し利用できるのか，教員の負担はどの程度あるのかを評価するために，小学校へ試験的な導入実験を行った．その結果，児童は本システムの操作を正しく理解したが，教員はクラスの児童全体で目標を継続的に取り組むための話し合いの時間などを設けていたなど、運用にあたって所要時間がかかることが負担に成り得ることがわかった．In this study, we developed a system to support moral education for lower-grade schoolchildren in order that they come to continue learning basic moral by themselves. We designed the system in which schoolchildren have their own daily goals and input their achievement result every day in groups. We expect the effect of competition and cooperation in groups and also expect the feeling of achievement to motivate the continuous learning in our system. To evaluate our system, we conducted preliminary experiment in a primary school. As a result, children understood the operation of our system and the system works well. However, teachers felt a little load increased when they do education with this system.

We assume the model that the total effect of three proteins A and B on C is far larger than the sole effects between two proteins A-C and B-C. In this method, we retrieve the combinations of three proteins (or genes) including the combinatorial effect using the conditional probability. We apply this method to real protein expression data, and examine the effectiveness of this method based on statistical distribution.

生命現象の仕組みを理解する方法の一つとして，タンパク質の相互作用の解析が盛んに行われている．しかし，発現量データを用いた 3 つ以上のタンパク質の複合的相互作用の推定は難しく，発展が望まれる研究課題の一つとなっている．本研究では，複数タンパク質が構成するタンパク質の複合体が別のタンパク質の発現量に影響する相互作用モデルに基づいて，相関係数を用いて，3 つのタンパク質が集まったときに初めて現れる相乗的な相互作用が推定されるタンパク質の組合せを抽出する手法を提案する．提案手法を実際のタンパク質発現量データに適用し，統計的な分布に基づいて提案手法の有効性を検討する．The interaction of proteins is actively analyzed as one of the methods of understanding the mechanism of the living creatures. However, prediction of combined interaction of three or more proteins that use the expression data is one of the research topics which is considered difficult. In this paper, we propose the technique for extracting the combination of the protein to which the interaction is predicted by using the correlation coefficient, and the technique based on the interaction model that the complex composed of two or more proteins influences the expression data of another protein. We evaluate the proposed method with real protein expression data and gine the result it based on statistical distribution.

本研究では、リンク状態型経路制御プロトコルを用いた IP ネットワークにおける動的な輻輳緩和手法を提案する。最短路ルーティングを行う場合には、最短路が特定のリンクに集中しやすく、そのため局所的に輻輳が発生しやすい。このため筆者らは、リンク故障時に即時に迂回路を利用してパケットを救出する IP Fast Reroute 方式の一つ SBR を応用して、輻輳リンクのトラフィックを局所的に分散させることで輻輳を緩和する負荷分散方式を提案したが、1 パケットは 1 回までしか迂回を許されなかったため、性能が限定されていた。本稿では、複数回の迂回を許すように拡張した手法を提案し評価を行ったのでこれを報告する。In this paper, we present a dynamic load balancing method for networks which deploy link-state routing. In shortest -path routing, traffic tend to be concentrated into particular links which are used by many shortest paths. Thus authors proposed a load balancing method using SBR mechanism, which is one of the IP Fast Reroute solution, but it bypass a packet only once and it is a limitation of this proposition. In this paper, we extend it to be capable of more than two bypasses.

In this paper, we propose a data mining technique to retrieve combinatorial interactions of proteins from expression data of proteins. In our proposal, we suppose the interaction model that two or more proteins are unified into one complex protein and it acts on another protein, and we predict the interaction using correlation coefficient. Our method has a feature that we can apply it even if the number of available expression samples is not so large, compared with other existing methods such as Bayesian networks. We evaluate our method with real protein expression data and report about it.

It is known that the communication quality of wireless links are easy to change so that every connection is expected to use stable links in wireless ad hoc networks. In this paper, from the idea that the stability of a link is mesured by its continuous active duration, we propose a method to lead computed paths into stable links by modifying link costs continuously in wireless ad hoc networks. In changing link costs, the two problems called "routing loops" and "route oscillation" may occur. We also show that the proposed method avoids those problems by giving theoretical analyses and simulation results.
