和歌山大学教育学部附属特別支援学校の植栽調査を行い、その結果をもとに教材開発およびその実践を行った。植栽調査では校内に32種（栽培品種のミカン類を除く）の樹木および大型多年生草本があることを確認した。そして高等部の5名の生徒とともに樹名板を設置し、生徒には校内植物マップとそれぞれの植物についての解説文を作成してもらった。また、知識を定着させるために、ゲーム感覚で植物を学ぶビンゴゲームを考案し、生徒の作成した解説文を用いて学習するiPad 教材を開発し実践した。実践後の生徒の感想および、樹名板設置前後の植物名認知度アンケートの結果から、この実践は植物名を入り口として、植物そのものの形態や生態に興味を持ち、探求へのきっかけとなったことが示された。

既に多くの児童生徒がスマートフォンやSNSを利用している実態に鑑みて、児童生徒の個々の考え方を表出し、対話を促すことで、他者との「感覚の相違」が存在することや、SNSやスマートフォンの利用には「共感・許容」といった感性が重要であることを理解できるような教材を開発することにした。３つの異なる形式の教材作成を試行した結果、実践者からはネットワーク利用における問題点に自ら気づき、他者の考え方を取り入れ、許容することで、問題への対処方法を見出だせる可能性があるとの評価を得ることができた。

小学校におけるプログラミング教育が平成32年から全面実施されることとなり、次年度から移行期間となる。しかしながら、小学校教員による指導上の不安や抵抗感から、その普及・推進が懸念されている。そこで、平成29年度に先行的に実施された小学校でのプログラミングの事例をまとめ、プログラミング授業の実態を探った。各種授業実践をその形態別に分類した所、現状でも様々なバリエーションの授業が試行的に進められていた。ただ、児童らが扱うプログラム処理の方式や達成レベル等が考慮されずに、授業の系統性に問題が多いことも明らかになった。さらに、各授業者への聞き取りによって、環境整備・時間数・指導力・評価方法等にも課題がみられた。また、「プログラミング教育」が独立した新たな分野として特別視される傾向にあり、情報活用能力の視点から捉え直す必要性なども見出だせたといえる。

The purpose of this study is to develop the model of factors affecting teachers' enthusiasm in ICT utilization at schools in Japan from a practical viewpoint. The authors asked three primary school teachers belonging to the same school to draw curved lines showing the process of their enthusiasm in ICT utilization and interviewed them about factors affecting their enthusiasm. As a result of the comparative analysis, three common factors affecting teachers' enthusiasm were clarified. The authors compared them with those of the UK primary school teachers at the same school in order to identify if the factors were characterized in the case of Japanese school teachers. The comparative studies indicated that one of the factors is specialized in the Japanese school because it was not identified in the case of UK school teachers. Based on the above results, the authors developed the model of factors of teachers' enthusiasm in ICT utilization at schools in Japan.

ICT活用に対する熱意に影響を及ぼす要因を具体的に検討するために,英国の3人の教師に「ICT活用に関する熱意」曲線を描いてもらい,それに影響を与えた事象を語ってもらった。3者の曲線の共通性や個々の独自性を明らかにした後,それらに影響を及ぼす要因を,個人的要因,環境要因に整理した.また,環境要因については,ICTの使いやすさという教師たちの感情を伴うものであることを確認した.これらの結果をもとに,ICT活用に対する熱意に影響を及ぼす要因の関係性をモデル化した.

2009年度に,学校の情報化の状況を「教科指導におけるICT活用」「情報教育」「校務の情報化」「情報化の推進体制」の4カテゴリ20項目の指標で自己評価する「学校情報化チェックリスト」を開発した(豊田ら2010).このチェックリストを用いて学校が自己評価し,診断結果の出力,履歴の確認,登録済みデータの平均との比較,次のステップへのアドバイスの参照等が行なえるWebベースの「学校情報化診断システム」を開発した.このシステムは,Web上で利用登録を含む運用管理が可能であり,アドバイスや参考情報等の書き換え・追加等も容易におこなえる機能を有している.

The interactive whiteboard is expected to be a common ICT tool in classrooms in the near future. In this research, 12 elementary and junior high schools were each lent three interactive whiteboards. Teachers and students in those schools utilized those boards in their own way. A utilization model for interactive whiteboards, which included five types of teacher uses and the same number of student uses, was developed by analyzing their utilization, intentions of the teachers, and evaluations by their students. In addition, a revised version of the usage model was developed through an evaluation process by teachers and students.

平成14年度からの新学習指導要領の完全実施により,中学校「技術・家庭科」の内容が大幅に変更となった。これまで技術分野の1領域で選択履修であった「情報基礎」が,今回の改訂によって,「情報とコンピュータ」という実質,技術科の半分の領域を占めるまでに拡大され必修となったのである。「情報とコンピュータ」では,コンピュータの操作技能の習得をはじめ,ネットワーク上のエチケットや情報モラル,著作権等への理解も重要視されてきている。さらに,「情報とコンピュータ」で育成される技能は,他の教科や総合的な学習への応用が期待されている。しかし学校教育現場では情報環境整備が進んでいるにも関わらず,今回の技術分野の大幅改訂,つまり時間枠の拡大や授業内容・進行方法の裁量権の拡大等によって,カリキュラム作成に困惑している状況である。そこで,新指導要領完全実施に伴う「情報とコンピュータ」のカリキュラムを検討・作成し,実際に先行実践をすることで,現状の問題点や今後の望ましいカリキュラムのあり方を提案した。

教員養成において,情報教育の実践的力量を形成することはますます重要になってきている。本学部では,平成8年度入学生より,1年次に基礎教育科目「コンピュータ入門」 (必修)を開講し,基本的なコンピュータリテラシーの育成することになった。そこで,新入生のコンピュータ利用経験について調査を行い,実態を明らかにすることにした。その結果,ほとんどの学生はコンピュータの利用経験がないことがわかった。
