本稿では，自然災害で道路が塞がれている場合でも多くの住民が到達できる避難施設の設置場所を推定するための新たな中心性指標を提案する．提案中心性では，グラフのリンク切断によって確率的に発生する道路閉塞をモデル化し，確率的なリンク切断の下で到達可能なノード数の期待値により各ノードの接続度を定量化する．複数の設置場所を推定するために，単一ノードではなくノードグループの接続度を定義し，最大化する手法を提案する．実際の道路網を用いてノード間距離に基づく方法とリンク密度に基づく方法とを比較し，提案手法の有効性と効率を評価する．

異なる地域の道路網であっても，その骨格構造や基本となる構成要素は類似する傾向にあることに着目し，大規模な道路ネットワークから機能的に類似する領域を高速に抽出することを試みる．具体的には，すでに学習済みの道路ネットワークにおけるK個の代表ベクトルを用いて，対象道路ネットワークの全ノードをK個にクラスタリングすることで，機能クラスタ抽出法で用いられるK-medoidクラスタリングの高速化を図る．

本研究では，現実世界で広くみられるようになったネットワークに対して，構成要素であるノードの多様性を定量化することを試みる．ネットワークにおけるノードはすべてが均質ではなく，それぞれ異なる役割を果たしていると自然に想定できる．そこで，PageRank収束曲線を各ノードの特徴ベクトルとして表現し，特徴ベクトルをChinese Restaurant Processにより加算無限個のクラスタに分割することで，ネットワークの多様性を定量化する．人工ネットワーク，Webネットワーク，ソーシャルネットワーク，道路網など様々なネットワークに適用し提案指標の有効性を確認する．

2011 年 3 月 11 日に発生した東日本大震災において，Twitter を利用して避難情報や被災地の情報が発信され，重要な情報源となった．しかし，Twitter で発信された情報は，急速に不特定多数の人に広まることから，誤った情報が発信されると瞬時に広がるというデメリットも存在する．そのため，デマ情報を早期収束させる方法を確立する必要がある．そこで，我々は Twitter における情報拡散メカニズムを探るため，新たな情報拡散モデルを提案する．提案モデルは，Twitter ユーザを趣味嗜好の概念を持つエージェントとして定義するさらに，同一ユーザが複数回つぶやくことと，情報経路の多重性を考慮する．提案モデルを用い，東日本大震災時に確認されたデマ情報拡散の再現実験をし，実際のデマ拡散の再現性について検討を行う．

In this paper, we extract some similar documents from large number of text documents by calculating eigenvector of document-term similarlity matrics. Namely, we propose a Weighted-SR (WSR) method based on the Spectral-Relaxation (SR) method. The SR method is one of core extraction methods of complex networks. We also consider LSA-WSR and MDS-WSR methods based on LSA and MDS. In our experiments using a text document dataset from Yahoo! News, We demonstrate that these methods extract documents which consist of mixed topics and split one topic into some core portions. We also show that the number of extracted documents is decreased and similar documents narrowed down by increasing η which is an arbitrary parameter.

本研究では，レビューサイトにおけるユーザとアイテムをノードとしたレビュー関係ネットワークなどから，特徴的なリンク傾向を抽出・分析することを試みる．特に，ユーザ，アイテムの属性に着目し，どのような属性値を有するユーザがどのようなアイテムに高い評価をするかについて，Zスコアを用いて算出する．算出したZスコアの値によりユーザ属性とアイテム属性のペアをランキングし，特徴的なリンク傾向を抽出・分析する．

本稿では，東日本大震災前後と定常時におけるTwitterのreplyデータを多重有向グラフ化し，コア抽出分解をおこなう．抽出手法には，単純無向グラフのコア抽出をおこなうSR(Spectral Relaxation)法を多重有向に拡張したMDSR(Multi-Directed-SR)法を用いる．MDSR法は，多重有向隣接行列の右固有ベクトルと左固有ベクトルを2値に量子化してコア部を抽出する．さらに，隣接行列から抽出したコア部に含まれるリンクを削除した後に上記の処理を適用し，再帰的にコア部を抽出する．右固有ベクトルはHITSアルゴリズムのAuthority度ベクトル，左固有ベクトルはHub度ベクトルに対応する．コア内のAuthorityノードとHubノードの比率の分布を見ることで，2つのデータのネットワーク構造を比較する．

本稿では，ネットワーク上の情報拡散現象において，情報を多くのノードへ伝搬するための橋渡しとなるノードである超媒介者を，ネットワーク構造と情報拡散モデルを利用して検出する手法を提案する．まず，任意のノードに対して情報拡散シミュレーションを行うことにより得られる影響度を，ネットワーク内の全ノードに対して算出してネットワーク全体の影響度の期待値を得る．次に，ネットワーク内の任意のノードを削除した部分ネットワークにおいて同様に影響度の期待値を算出し，この差が大きくなるノードを超媒介者として検出する．提案手法を 2 つの実ネットワークに適用し，提案手法によって検出されたノードが，実際にネットワークの情報拡散に大きく寄与していることを示す．

本論文では，東日本大震災時の前後に Twitter に投稿された約 4 億のツイートを用いて，震災が Twitter を用いた情報共有行動に与えた影響を分析した．その結果，震災直後からリツイートの利用が増加し，また情報源となるユーザが変化し，単発の情報提供者が増加したことが明らかとなった．また，リツイートの時系列を混合正規分布を用いてモデル化し，震災直後にはリツイートが行われるタイミングが短くなり多くの情報が素早く大勢のユーザに共有されたことを明らかにした．以上の結果より，東日本大震災後の Twitter には集合知を用いた情報共有ツールとしての役割が与えられたと考えられることが明らかとなった．In this paper, we analyzed the 400 millions of Tweet data which posted around the Great East Japan Earthquake to find how the twitter used and how the Twitter was influenced by the disaster. We modeled the time series data of Retweet by Log Normal Mixture Model. By analyzing the model, we found that the peak times of the retweets are become shorter, and there are few long range retweets after the disaster. As a result, we can say that the role of the Twitter was changed from communication tools to information sharing tools since the Great East Japan Earthquake were occurred.

A Difference of Local Communication Structure on the Crisis

ここ数年， Twitter をはじめとして，ソーシャルメディアを日常的に利用している人は多くなり，先の震災でも一部ではあるが，情報収集手段としてソーシャルメディアを活用した人たちがいる．これらコミュニケーションツールが，災害時の情報伝播にてどのように使われたのかを知ることは，将来起こりうる災害において情報技術を有効に活用するために重要である．既存研究では，災害など社会的なイベントの取得にソーシャルメディアが有効であることはすでに議論されており，その際の情報伝搬に関して様々な視点から議論されている．本研究では，震災前後 2 週間程度の約 4 億の Twitter に投稿された Tweet データを対象に，ユーザの状況，行動，コミュニケーション構造を全体ならびに地域単位で分析することで，ユーザのおかれた状況ごとにどのようなコミュニケーション状況であるかを分析する．それにより，将来，個々のユーザに適した情報を伝搬するために必要な仕組みを提供するための基礎的知見を明かにする．The Great East Japan Earthquake caused devastating damage to infrastructure and loss of life. Many people used social media to communicate and share information through the series of earthquake events and aftershocks. We analyzed over 300 million tweets and the Twitter network in Japan before and after the earthquake, which revealed the earthquake that occurred in the Twitter milieu itself. We performed analyses of two kinds. As a result, we suggest that the role of Twitter as a means to share information changed during the earthquake period.

By analyzing the model, we found that the peak times of the retweets are become shorter, and there are few long range retweets after the disaster. Relation analysis of high degree users on Twitter by using follow similarity

In this paper, as the first step to construct user models on Twitter, we focus on the high degree users who are considered as main rule players in Twitter's follow network, and we analyze the relation among these high degree users based on a follow similarity measure. Our experimental results show that the high in-degree users can be clearly classified into two groups, i.e., low out-degree users and high out-degree users, while the high out-degree users form only one group, i.e., only high in-degree users.

地理情報検索において，ユーザの地理的検索対象が時間と共にどのように変動しているかについて調べる．そこで，商用サーチエンジンのクエリログから，東京の首都圏の各地名と共起語を抽出し，頻度の時間的・空間的な変動を分析した．その結果，地理的クエリは一般的なクエリとは異なる時間的変動を示し，現実の人間の行動の影響があること，地名はそれぞれ固有の時間的変動パターンを持ち，共起語集合がその地域の特徴を示すことがわかった．さらに，地図上に特に頻繁に検索されている地名を可視化して．注目されている地名の分散や移動パターンに，現実の人間の行動との関連性があることを示した．I examined the spatial and time variation of users' geographical search targets in geographical searches. I extracted geographical names of Tokyo metropolitan district and their cooccurrence terms from commercial search engine query logs and analyzed the spatial and time variation of their frequency. I found that the variation of geographical queries was different from one of general queries and it was influenced by human activities in the real world. Each geographical name had its own characteristics and its cooccurrence terms showed regional features. Furthermore, I displayed frequently-searched geographical names on the map. I showed that their distribution and moving patterns were related to real human movement.

2011年5月現在いまだ進行中である福島第一原子力発電所の事故を受けて、政府や事業者等の各種機関からは原子力発電所について様々なプレスリリースが出され続けている。プレスリリースは報道機関や一般の人々に対する情報提供を目的として発信される資料であるが、今日、人々は情報を受け取るだけでなく、原子力発電所事故に関する自身の考えをTwitter上で発信し続けている。本研究では原子力発電所事故に関するプレスリリースとTwitter上における発言との関連性を分析し、原子力事故発生時にプレスリリースが人々にどのような影響を及ぼしたのかについて考察することを目的とする。

Multi-faceted Ranking of Information Sources Using Information Diffusion Properties in Blogspace

本論文では，3 種類の情報伝播特性を用いた，ブロガが注目している情報源の多面的ランキング手法を提案する．ブログ検索結果から抽出した情報伝播ネットワークを各情報源から到達可能な複数の部分ネットワークに分割し，部分ネットワーク中の 3 種類の有向 2 エッジ連結部分グラフの数から定義した情報拡散度，情報集約度および情報転送度を情報源のランキングに用いる．さらに，実際の情報伝播ネットワークに適用し，ランキング結果の順位相関係数を調べるとともに，オフィシャルサイト，ニュース，CGM という 3 種類の情報源の MRR と MAP を用いてランキング手法の特性を明らかにし，情報伝播特性を用いた多面的ランキングの有効性を示す．This paper proposes a multi-faceted ranking method of information sources attracting bloggers by using three information diffusion properties. The information diffusion network extracted from searched blog entries is divided into subnetworks, each of which is reachable from an information source. We define the information scatter degree, the information gather degree, and information transmit degree as information diffusion properties by using the number of three types of directed 2-edge connected subgraphs in a subnetwork and use them for the ranking of information sources. We apply this ranking method to real information diffusion networks and analyze rank-order correlation coefficient of ranking results. Furthermore, we characterize ranking methods by using MRR and MAP of three-types of information sources: official sites, news sites and CGMs. In the result, we demonstrate the effectiveness of a multi-faceted ranking method by using information diffusion properties.

A important privacy problem of future ubiquitous services lies on network aria that is possible to combine private information from ubiquitous devices with private information from network services such as weblog and social networking services (SNS). In this paper, we propose a model of privacy violation using anonymity quantitative method based information entropy on network space. This model focuses on privacy violation brought about results from personal data combinations. The private information propagation is took account of network models. Then we construct a simulation model using multi-agent simulator and discuss the effect of privacy violation that aspects on private information propagation on the network aria and actual aria.

A Detection Method of Privacy Violation on Social Networking Services

In this paper, we propose a detection method of privacy violation using information entropy on social networking services (SNS). This method prevents personal identification by private information combination on each SNS domain. The basic function of the method quantitatively evaluates the anonymity level of a person who discloses his/her data, and controls the personal-data disclosure according to the level. Then we evaluate the method from the aspect of private information violation using multi-agent simulator, and we show the effectiveness and clarify the applied aria.

Web community discovery using personal names

These days, web access is essential for our daily lives, and many communities are formed by the exchange of information. We propose a method for discovering web communities by using personal names. It extracts personal names from search results that are relevant to a specific topic and finds appropriate web communities by analyzing the bipartite graph between personal names and websites. In general, web pages are too noisy to extract such social network structures automatically. We introduce a measure called "effectiveness" and extract only key people or key websites to make their bipartite graph. We also demonstrate an application called "Community Navigator" and visualize web communities for a specific topic by using it. Moreover, we analyze the measure for an actual example and show that it is suitable for selecting key people and key websites.

Web Community Analysis by Personal Names

With the rapid growth of the web, huge and various documents are opened to public on the web and it is essential for your life and business to search desired information by web search engines. Nevertheless user often fails to search desired information which surely exist on the web because of too many information. So new search assistance methods are desired. In this paper, we try to assist user's search process by using a real-world oriented searching which combines the web space and the real world. We uses personal names for this purpose. We assume that there is a relation between a person and a web site in the case that his name appears in the web site. And we try to extract communities which belong to the same topic by analyzing the bipartite graph between personal names and web sites in consideration of their effectiveness and visualize them.

Figuring out People by their Workspaces on the Web

Although the Web is an artificial space for information utilization, many of the pages on the Web are mentioning things or concepts in the real world. As the Web is going to play more important role in our daily lives, it will more precisely reflect the real world. In consideration of these facts and the trend, an approach for analyzing the Web that makes good use of knowledge on the real world, so to say "real world oriented Web mining", is considered to be promising. Based on this idea, this paper presents a method to extract workspaces for persons with a given name on the web. The method is derived by applying knowledge on the relationship between people and their workspaces in the real world to the Web. The validity of the method is verified through experiments. A set of workspaces for a person extracted by the method from the web is expected to be put to use for characterizing the person. As an example, the paper introduce a technique to visualize relationships between the workspaces, which can be used for roughly distinguishing between persons with the same family and personal name.

The Ja-Jakarta project is a volunteer project to promote the japanization of open source products, and to translate their documents into Japanese. We have developed a distributed system constructed mainly with open source products and operates them to offer a cooperating work environment to the contributors scattered all over the country. We also offer a translation support service based on XML. We evaluated our system design and operation management by the analysis of the information in project mailing lists, system logs, and the qestionnaire to our contributors. As the results, we confirmed that our services such as information exchange, information disclosure, and translation support have been effectively utilized. This paper thus reports that the open source model is effective for translation works.

A Method for Visualizing Web Search Histories

Webサーチエンジンのログに記録されている検索行為の相互関係を，行為者，検索語，検索結果中から選択・閲覧したWebページという属性データの相互関係を使い，Query Networkというグラフ構造によって表現する方法を提案する．サーチエンジンODINの検索ログから得られたQuery Networkの実例を示しながら，その構造的特徴について述べるとともに，このネットワークを視覚化するツールを紹介する．さらに，Query Networkは複数ユーザのインプリシットな協調作業の結果として捉えられることを述べ，その情報探索手段としての可能性について議論する．We propose a method for interpreting Web search histories into the graph structure called {\em Query Network}, which can be obtained by compiling relationships between users, queries and web pages in the histories. We describe structural characteristics of Query Networks based on some examples derived from logs of the ODIN search engine. We also introduce a tool for visualizing these networks. Furthermore, we claim that the Query Network can be thought of an outcome of implicit collaborations among users. Its potential for collaborative information discoveries is explored from this point of view.

Finding Key People and Visualizing their Relationships on the Web

我々は文書検索と固有表現抽出を組み合わせた情報検索手法NEXAS(Named Entity eXtraction and Association Search)を提案する．NEXASは，検索質問と適合する文書だけでなく，それらと関連する実世界のエンティティを発見する．これにより利用者は文書集合内の情報に加え，実世界に関する知識を得ることができる．本稿では提案手法の実際的な適用例として，与えられたトピックに関するキーパーソンをWeb上から発見するシステムについて述べる．また，キーパーソン間の関係を無向グラフとして可視化する方法を説明する．We propose NEXAS(Named Entity eXtraction and Association Search), an information retrieval method that combines document retrieval with named entity extraction. NEXAS finds not only documents relevant to a query but also real world entities related to them. This helps users to get real world knowledge as well as information in the document collection. As a practical application of the proposed method, this paper presents a system to find key people on the Web for a given topic. We also describe a visualization method of relationships of key people as undirected graphs.

We propose a novel method for measuring similarity among information sources, such as web servers, by comparing distributions of string occurrence frequency in their resources. This approach is an analogue of the literary detective, which is to identify an author by comparing statistical characteristics of documents (e.g., word frequency distributions) that reflect authrs' writing styles. In this paper, we show how we have developed and validated the method. Similarity measured with this method is compared with that of derived from a Web directory service where information sources are classified and hierarchically arranged. We also describe a way to apply the similarity measuring method to selecting feature terms of information sources.

Automated Web Directory Expansion using Co - citation Analysis of Hyperlinks

With the rapid growth of the web, it is getting harder to build and maintain web directories and there are significant delays in registering or updating information. To meet the situation, we propose a new method to automatically expand a web directory using related web finding algorithms based on co-citation analysis of hyperlinks. We apply the proposed method with four algorithms respectively to a web directory in real use which consists of hundreds of categories to show effectiveness of the method and differences among the algorithms.

Estimation of Hierarchical Structure of Web for Search Engine

WWWの急速な普及に伴い，サーチエンジンの重要性はますます高まりつつある。しかし，今日のサーチエンジンの出力する膨大な検索結果は未整理で，わかりにくいものとなっている。一因として既存のサーチエンジンは，Webページを独立に扱っており，WWW空間の持つ構造をなんら利用していないことが挙げられる。本稿では，Webページをまとまりを持ったグループに分ける方法と，サーチエンジンにおけるグループ単位での検索機能について述べる。ロボットで収集したWebページを用いて実験を行ない，本手法の有効性を確認した。The rapid spread of World Wide Web lets search engines be more and more important tools. However, their output are chaotic and hard to read. This is because existing search engines treat pages as individuals and do not exploit any structure of the WWW. In this paper, we describe a method to group WWW pages and the search-by-group feature of our new search engine. Experiments using actual web pages collected by a spider indicate its effectiveness.

Design of Japanese Morphological Analysis API Independent upon a Particular Program

It is difficult to develop natural language processing programs on multiple platforms at the same time because different Japanese morphological analysis programs are required on different platforms. In this paper, we at first investigate functions of exsiting Japanese morphological analysis programs, in order to clarify issues on platform-independency. Next, we describe a design of a Japanese Morphological Analysis API that is independent of Japanese morphological analysis programs and platforms. Finally, we define several Java classes based on the design.

Compound Term Extraction for World - Wide Information Discovery

Search engines are generally used when exploring a very large information space, the Internet. If search engines present users with some adequate related terms, they can easily specify the search for information resources. In this paper, as related terms which aid world-wide information discovery, we focus on compound terms that comprise a sequence of nouns. Moreover, we propose a compound term extraction method. This method organizes an appropriate document set and extracts compound terms according to their frequencies in the document set. Results from the our experimentation indicate that the compound terms are divided into four types and that the documents in a single file-system directory are a reasonable choice for a document set.

近年、コンピュータをネットワークで接続した分散環境は一般的に使用されるようになってきた。半面、分散システムの修正や機能追加は大規模になるほど大変な作業になり、異機種が混在するネットワークでは移植の必要性があるなど、分散システム開発は非常に困難である。従来のサーバシステムは、サーバ・クライアント間の通信はプロトコルという形で厳密に定められていて、サーバはあらかじめ決められた手続きしか実行できなかった。本稿では、分散プログラムのプロトタイピング環境として、特定の環境に依存せずに、動的な変更・拡張が可能であるサーバと通信プロトコルを提案し、分散システムに適用した場合の有効性を述べる。
