科学技術分野への女性の参入増加は科学技術の発展においては必要不可欠であり，女子の理系進路選択支援は大変重要である.私立女子校である和歌山信愛中学校高等学校は，和歌山大学と連携し当校の女子高校生を対象とした「ロケットガール養成講座」を毎年実施している.本講座は全長約140 cm，重量約7 kgの本格的なロケットの設計・製作から，その打上げに至るまで，すべて女子高校生自身の手で実現していく企画である.ロケットの製作・打上という高度で複雑なプロジェクトを通じ，理工系の技術を学びながら，生徒自身が問題点を発見し理工系の楽しさを実感すること，また技術のみならずプロジェクトマネジメントやチームワークを学ぶことを本講座のねらいとしている.約10年間における本講座の実施を通じ，本講座は女子の理系進路選択支援として大いに有効であると考えられる．受講生の意識や行動の変容についても定量的な評価法を検討中である．

We have two parabolic antennas in Wakayama GS, and the diameters are 3m and 12m. In this paper we report evaluations of pointing accuracy and beam size of the 12m antenna in Wakayama Ground Station.

大学宇宙工学コンソーシアム(UNIversity Space Engineering Consortium,以下UNISECと表記)は設立以来,学生チームがプロジェクトを企画し,学生自身の手で設計・製造・運用までを一体的に実施することに主眼を置いた,実践的な宇宙教育活動を行ってきた.学生チームの作った輸送機により学生チームが作った衛星を実際に宇宙にまで打ち上げ運用を行うことが将来的な目標ではあるが,現時点では既存の輸送系により学生の製造・運用する衛星が宇宙へと打ち上げられるに留まっている.本稿では宇宙に至るまでの途中経過とし,衛星側・輸送機側の地球上での教育的な取組として実施されてきた,Cansatおよびハイブリッドロケット等の宇宙工学教育のこれまでの経緯と今後の課題に関して解説を行う.

2008年に制定された宇宙基本法に基づき2012年7月にようやく関連する法案が成立し,我が国の宇宙開発は総理直下のプロジェクトとして大きく体制が変更がされた.また2013年1月には改訂宇宙基本計画も発表され,新しい宇宙政策が進められつつある.本稿ではこのような体制変更が行われた理由,および新体制が目指す宇宙政策に関して解説し,それらを踏まえた上で,今後の科学・探査計画の立案・遂行にあたり必要となる考え方に関して解説と意見陳述を行う.

It is a part of "New Paradigm of Space Development and Utilization by Nano-satellite" of "Funding Program for World-Leading Innovative R&D on Science and Technology (FIRST)". This project is led by Prof. Shinichi NAKASUKA, The University of Tokyo. The 2nd CLTP is hosted by Nihon University fomr November 14th to December 10th. In this paper, the results of the 2nd CLTP is reported.

　View Summary

We have been studying the instrumentation onboard the lander and rover for a lunar geological exploration with the SELENE-B that demonstrates the next generation technologies of a pin-point and soft landing on planetary surfaces of scientific interest and an autonomous controlled scientific rover. In this mission, imaging spectroscopy and multi-band imagery will characterize the target site around a crater central peak and gamma-ray spectrometry will measure radioactivity along the rover's track. Lunar rocks and soils at the target crops or around the lander are selected to brush up and grind for detailed analyses by microscopy and x-ray fluorescence/diffraction method. The systematic configuration of instruments is also introduced.

Rock surface observations are important method for the landing planetary survey, such as SELENE-B mission. We developed the imaging spectral microscope, and estimated the most appropriate roughness of rock surface. To be observed minerals structures, these rock surfaces should be polished, but element of specular reflection is strong at polished surfaces. And at spectral observation, element of diffused reflection is important for analysis of these data. We have to determine the most appropriate roughness of rock surface for the observation of our landing survey.

ALIS (Akita Lunar Imaging Spectrometer) is a telescopic imaging spectrometer which we developed for Space Station Lunar Observatory project. A purpose of this project is to establish the photometric model of the moon as a spectral radiance standard of space-borne imaging instruments by repeated observation of the moon with a VIS/NIR (Visible and Near Infra-red light) from the International Space Station. We developed a calibration method to gain absolute radiance and relative reflectance of the moon from ALIS data and present geologic variations of reflectance spectra. This project is carried out as a part of 'Ground-based Research Announcement for Space Utilization' promoted by Japan Space Forum.

　View Summary

「はやぶさ」は2003年5月9日に打ち上げられた小惑星探査ミッションで、Ｓ型小惑星1998SF36をそのターゲット天体としている。現在ミッションは打ち上げ後の初期運用フェーズを終え、定常運用へと移行している。 このミッションは工学ミッションとして（１）電気推進の運用：（２）自律航法；（３）微小低重力下でのサンプリング；（４）カプセルの再突入と回収、の4つの大きな課題を担っている。 サイエンス観測としては、本講演で延べるAMICA（Asteroid Multiband Imaging CAmera）の他に赤外分光計、蛍光Ｘ線スペクトロメータ、LIDARが理学観測に用いられることになっている。 AMICAは光学航法カメラ（Optical Navigation Camera: ONC）の望遠カメラ（ONC-T）にフィルタと偏光子を装着したもので、衛星システム上では望遠光学航法カメラ（ONC-T）を理学観測機器として捉えるときに限り、特にAMICAというシステム呼称が用いられている。 このカメラは8バンドのフィルタホイールを搭載しているが、1バンドを航法用のwideバンドフィルタに用いるため分光フィルタは7バンドを装備している。これらは小惑星の分光観測システムであるECAS（EightColor Asteroid Survey）で使用されるフィルタセットに準拠させている。また偏光子は視野の一部を占めるよう、CCDの直上に配置している。これは光学ガラスに一定の方向に整列した細長い銀粒子を埋めこんだもので、これをCCD面の１辺に４方向の偏光面角（0、 45、 90、 135度）を持つように切り出した小片を配置したものである。 本講演では、これら総合試験・性能評価で最終的に得られた結果、また初期運用で得られたデータの紹介など、AMICAの現況と今後実施する小惑星観測について紹介する。

Unmanned lunar geologic exploration of a crater’s central peak to investigate subsurface layering is discussed. Rover-lander corporative mission is executed. From a lander which is within 500m from the frank of the central peak, a rover should make a round-trip to the frank and bring samples back to the lander. Multi-band camera, gamma-ray spectrometer, rock-coring mechanism, sampling and transportation mechanism should be on board the rover. Detailed analyses of the returned samples including microscopic spectroscopy and X-ray spectrometry and diffraction should be done in the lander.

The main stream of the present spectrometer for spacecraft is a type of carrying band-pass-filter on the wheel to drive. The number of observable bands is restricted at this type. AOTF (Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter) is tunable spectrometer without the moving element. But, still various problems exist to employ it on the spacecraft. We have been examined about the AOTF system and the way of employing it. On this lecture, we show our latest knowledge.

This is the proposal is one of the mission designs in Minor Body Exploration Forum. At first, the spacecraft will take image on the surface of the Deimos. (This is the activity which hasn't been finished yet at 2010 years.) Next, many modules for the survey of interior structures are dropped on both satellites, Deimos and Phobos. Each position of the module is defined by the mother ship. Seismometer, sources of artificial earthquake, thermometer and magnetometer are installed in the module. Sequential limb profiles of both satellites are taken for getting whole shape. The whole shapes of both are also keys for internal structures and evolution.

Measuring shapes of asteroids is one of the significant objectives of asteroids missions. In order to measure shapes of asteroids, we have to decide asteroid's rotation axis. We have been investigating the methods to measure figure of Asteroids using the Orbital Motion Analysis system at CRL. Here, we report our investigation results for rotation axes-decision, by numerical calculation.

The changes of surface reflectance in response to changing illumination and viewing geometry, depends upon physical and optical properties of surface materials and overall shape of the body. We are trying to estimate the surface reflectance properties of Phobos using the computer graphic (CG) of detail model of Phobos, on which reflectance conditions can be freely changed. Here we report the system configuration and procedures of the simulation study.
