    This study aims to discuss practical tasks on sexuality education for students with intellectual disabilities in special schools. An interview survey was conducted with two male graduates. Interview items involved what they learned in the lesson of sexuality education,what they wanted to learn on sexuality education in schools, and so on. Results of a qualitative analysis of interview data are discussed. Future tasks are 1)the necessity of early sexuality education, 2) the development of useful educational tools for students with disabilities, and, in particular, 3) Securing appropriate informational resources about sex, gender, and sexuality.

    本研究の目的は、知的障害のある人が、特別支援学校で学んだ性教育についてどのように感じているのか、性教育において何を学び、何を学びたいと考えているのかなど、そのニーズを明らかにし、性教育を実施する上での今後の課題を提示することである。セクシュアリティ教育の考えを参考に性教育を実施している特別支援学校卒業生(女性２名)を対象にインタビュー調査を行い、質的分析を行った。その結果、とくに「生理」に関する知識を学んだことが卒業後も役立っており、学校で取り組んだ内容をまとめた冊子を持っていることも安心感につながっていた。今後の課題として、１. 相談相手を含めた正しい情報入手先の確保、２. 妊娠に対する強すぎる不安への対応、３. 教員の姿勢、体制の整備の３点があることが明らかになった。

    本稿では、知的障害特別支援学校高等部教員への作業学習に対する意見調査の結果を提示する。近畿圏にある特別支援学校85校に対し１校につき10枚の調査票を配布したところ44校361人(回収率42.3％)から回答があった。作業学習の時間数について「現状のままが良い」と294人(81.4％)が回答しているものの、その自由記述には「教科とのバランスも尊重したい」という意見があった。今後は、高等部における作業学習と各教科との内容の関連について調査、検討する必要がある。

    学習指導要領の改訂に伴い、知的障害特別支援学校では、各教科をはじめとして教育課程編成について見直し、その在り方を検討していくことが重要な課題となっている。本研究では、知的障害特別支援学校の国語・算数(数学)・理科・社会・外国語の学習指導に関する現状と課題について明らかにするために授業観察とインタビュー調査を行った。データの質的分析を行った結果、【実態把握】【学習内容選定】【実施と評価】【教育課程の連続性】の４つのカテゴリーが生成された。カテゴリーの関連を検討したところ、知的障害特別支援学校の教科学習では、とくに【実態把握】における学習集団の編成や学習形態、【教育課程の連続性】が担保できる【学習内容選定】について課題があることが明らかになった。

    本稿は、知的障害特別支援学校高等部における作業学習、現場実習、進路指導の実態について、近畿圏の知的障害部門の高等部主事を対象としたアンケート調査の結果から提示したものである。全85校のうち48校から回答が得られた(回収率56.5％)。調査結果より、①特別支援学校における小学部から高等部に至るまでの一貫したキャリア教育、②地域と連携した作業学習の展開、③重度知的障害生徒の現場実習、④知的障害のある生徒の進路選択肢に着目し、考察した。

    本研究では、個別の教育支援計画の作成状況及び、特別な配慮を必要とする児童生徒への「合理的配慮」に対する教員の意識について、和歌山県紀の川市で実施されたアンケート調査の結果を提示する。調査回答者60名のうち、個別の教育支援計画(和歌山県での通称「つなぎ愛シート」)を児童生徒の指導・支援に活用していると肯定的評価をした回答者は44人(73.3％)であった。児童生徒の保護者と懇談する際に計画を活用していると肯定的評価をした回答者は41人(68.3％)であった。さらに、障害者差別解消法の「合理的配慮」について「知っている」「どちらかというと知っている」とした回答者は46人(76.7％)であった。以上及び回答者による自由記述の内容を整理し総合的に考察したとき、小中学校において「合理的配慮」の記載項目がある個別の教育支援計画の作成は、教員にとって児童生徒の指導・支援、及び保護者との共通理解につながるという点において有効であり、さらなる発展の可能性が見出された。一方、教員に対する計画作成のサポートがその可能性を左右することも示唆された。

  • Practices of Japanese Language Lessons Based on "Universal Design for Learning" in Elementary School : Focusing on Self-efficacy

    本研究では、小学校通常の学級における国語科で「学びのユニバーサルデザイン(UDL)」の３原則を用いた授業実践を通して、学年全体の児童及び特別な配慮を必要とする児童の自己効力感に対する効果の検証を行う。６年生通常の学級の児童108名を調査対象とし、「ペアトーク」を重視した国語科での授業実践の前後に「児童用教科(国語)特異的自己効力感尺度」(冨田・宇野2013)を用いてアンケート調査を実施した。その結果、６年生児童全体では授業実践の前後で自己効力感の平均値の相違は認められなかった。しかし、事前事後ともに「行動の積極性」と「能力の位置付け」のカテゴリー間では相関がみられた。また、男子の「能力の位置づけ」において、事前と事後の結果に有意差がみられた。さらに、特別な配慮を必要とする児童の自己効力感の標準化得点を授業実践の前後で比較したところ、７名中６名が事前より事後の方が上昇していた。以上の結果及び児童や担任の自由記述を参考に総合的に考察したところ、「ペアトーク」を導入したUDLの授業実践は、特別な配慮を必要とする児童も積極的に参加しやすい点で国語科に対する児童の自己効力感を向上させる可能性があると示唆された。

    近年、障害者に関する法的な動き等を背景に障害者支援は、大きな変化の時期を迎えている。高等教育機関でもそれに伴い、障害学生の支援が推進されるようになった。そこで本稿では、まず、高等教育機関における障害学生への支援体制を推進する社会的背景について整理した。次に、和歌山大学における障害学生支援の体制整備の経緯を振り返りつつ、「障がい学生支援室」の活動の現状をまとめ、本学の障害学生支援の特徴を明らかにし、今後の課題を考察した。その結果、「障害支援」と「学生相談」の二つのスタンスを重視してきた本学の体制整備の中で、両スタンスを基盤に持つ「コーディネート機能」と「カウンセリング機能」の両機能を「障がい学生支援室」が担ってきたことが大きな特徴と思われた。これは、精神障害や発達障害の学生への支援ニーズの高さに対応しうるシステムと評価した。また、合理的配慮や就労支援といった多くの面で課題が浮き彫りになり、啓蒙活動や教育等の学内体制整備の一層の推進が不可欠であると同時に、学内外との連携の強化が重要であると思われた。障害学生が充実した学生生活を送り、社会で自立できるようなシステム構築のための多面的取組の継続が今後も必要である。

    本研究では、特別支援教育や障害者福祉における知的障害及び発達障害のある人のニーズに基づいた合理的配慮について検討する。ニーズ中心アプローチにおけるニーズの4類型（上野ら2008）を用いて考察した結果、承認ニーズ（本人顕在・第3者顕在）や要求ニーズ（本人顕在・第3者潜在）に基づく合理的配慮は、第3者にとって過重な負担がある、合理的ではない場合であっても、第3者の対応の改善及び両者の調整によって実施されることが望ましい。それにより、要求ニーズは、より現実的な承認ニーズに変化しうる。庇護ニーズ（本人潜在・第3者顕在）による第3 者の配慮は、承認ニーズに基づく合理的配慮に変えていくことが求められる。非認知ニーズ（本人潜在・第3者潜在）については、第3者が環境や状況の変化による本人の変化を理解することが必要である。さらに、学校教育に合理的配慮の考えや実践を導入していくためには、個別の教育支援計画に合理的配慮の事項を設け、実施していく取り組みが重要であると示唆した。

    This study aims to discuss the desires and difficulties of people with severe intellectual disabilities. Further, it aims to propose a support perspective that helps support staff understand the feelings and perceptions of those with severe disabilities in the community (community support perspective). A qualitative analysis of the assessment on personal futures planning, one aspect of person-centered planning conducted by group home support staff, revealed the following findings. Desires included the following five categories : enjoyable activities in daily life, range of experiences, human relationships, self-control and self-selection, and demands made to any support staff. Moreover, difficulties involved five categories : daily rhythm, relationship with other residents in the group home, communication with support staff, behavior that is not approved by others in the community, and control over resident's own life. It is concluded that the desires and difficulties of people with severe disabilities are closely linked. Further, the community support perspective leads to individual support that values the desires of each person with disabilities by taking into account their difficulties and making it possible for them to lead a community life.

    This study aims to discuss the results and process of "community residential support wherein support staff introduce the application of the active support model to person-centered planning for people with severe intellectual disabilities". Further, this study aims to examine the relationship between those with severe disabilities and the support staff at community residential homes. A qualitative analysis of field notes revealed the following findings. The staff initiated a choice-making support cycle that involved (1) understanding the self-selection the residents made in their daily life; (2) suggesting roles in the group/care home, things that residents looked after themselves, the joys of group/care home life, and things that could be done for the betterment of health conditions of residents; and (3) reflecting residents' experiences by mutual understanding. This support cycle reduced the resident's uneasiness, and increased their choices, approval of their behavior, and their experiences of success. Thus it can be concluded that there exists a mutual relationship between people with severe disabilities and their support staff. A case analysis revealed that residents supported the involvement of the staff and that the staff helped them by continuing such supporting behavior through trial and error.

    This study aims to propose the process by which support staff can arrange and organize opportunities for people with severe intellectual disabilities, whereby they can participate in various events at community residential facilities such as group homes. Based on person-centered planning, which values the desires and aspirations of each person with disabilities, 'A-no-kai', the subject of the author's study, has recently introduced the Active Support Model, which considers the opportunities and appropriate care for people with severe disabilities, where by they can participate in various activities. The main result was the following process of community residential support at A-no-kai: Support staff assess the needs of each person with severe disabilities by considering what the person is interested in or what the person wants to do. Then, using "staff intervention involving participation from each person with disabilities, "the staff plan, conduct, record, and evaluate the opportunity for each person to engage in/play activities or roles that will enable him/her to have better life experiences. This process reveals (1) the importance of the plan being assessed by more than one support staff member and (2) the necessity of providing training and supervision to front-line staff.
