    本稿は、初任者研修の質的向上を図ることを目的として、和歌山大学教職大学院が展開してきたプロジェクトの下の2つのプログラムの成果をもとに開発を進めてきた、拠点校指導教員や校内指導教員といった初任者の指導にあたる教員の指導力の向上を図るワークショップの試行とそこから見えてきた課題について報告するものである。ワークショップは、2つのプログラムで蓄積した初任者の訪問指導記録から、初任者の課題とその指導上の適時と考えられる時期を見出し、年間4回程度の連続性をもったものとして予定している。

    新学習指導要領では、「問題解決力」、「批判的思考」、「論理的思考力」がこれからの社会を生きていくために必要であるとされ、その育成が求められている。これは、中教審「学士課程教育の構築に向けて」（2008年）答申における「学士力」からの流れのなかで「初等中等教育から高等教育に至るまでの学校制度全体でいかに育むか」として広がったと捉えることがとできる。学校現場で指導する教員を養成する課程において、「思考力」を高めることができているのか。免許状取得のための過重な単位取得の現状、さらに導入されるコアカリキュラムの授業内容項目によって、教員養成課程においては、「学士力」として求められている能力を高めることは容易ではないことがわかる。

    初任者研修プログラムは初任者研修高度化モデルを先行事業とした、教職大学院による2年間の初任者研修である。大学と教育委員会が連携・協働して教員養成・現職研修を実施するシステムを開発するための実験的なプログラムであり、履修証明プログラムの形態をとっている。研修の主たる内容は、現任校訪問指導と初任者は週1回の訪問指導を受け、隔週の教職大学院で受講するものである。
