A Study on the Continuity of Living of the Elderly People:Case Studies of Dwelling Life

　View Summary

<b>目的</b> 調査対象地域の奈良県T町は、街道沿いに残る伝統的な住宅を活用してシニア住民が自主的にまちづくり活動を行い、住民同士の交流が活発になるなどの成果を上げてきた。しかし、住民の高齢化が進み、活動の継続が危惧されている。今後のまちづくり活動、及び町並み維持のためには、住民の居住の継続が必要である。居住の継続を可能とする要因を探るため、2010年に自宅を訪問し、ヒアリング調査を実施したお宅を再訪問した。時間の経過による居住者の生活の変化、現在の住宅の状況を把握することを目的とし経年調査を実施した。本報では、居住の継続にもっとも大きく関わる住まいに視点を置き、実施されてきた住宅の改修や建て替えについての具体的事例を、居住状況および身体状況の変化との関係性から報告する。 <b><br>方法</b> 2010年に調査したお宅の中から了解を得られた6軒を再び訪問し、高齢者や同居家族に対してヒアリング調査を行った。調査項目は、前回調査からの家族構成・身体状況・生活の変化、住宅改修等の有無などである。調査期間は2015年6月26日～7月18日である。 <br> <b>結果</b> 調査対象6例のうち、家族構成に変化があったのは3例である。前回調査対象だった高齢者が亡くなっていたのが2例あった。前回調査から建替え、住宅改修を行ったのがそれぞれ3例あった。建替えや住宅改修のきっかけは、高齢者が亡くなった、子どもの勧め、維持するためなどだった。身体状況が低下し、住宅に不便感を感じている人もいた。

<b>目的</b>シニア住民主体のまちづくり活動に対する継続研究から、活動が地域住民の関係構築に寄与し、住民が地域の課題に意識を向ける契機となるなど住民の互助的関係づくりに寄与していることを明らかにした。しかし、若い世代の活動への関わりは少なく、今後の活動継続が危惧されている。そこで、この地域周辺に開発された新興住宅地の比較的若い世代の活動参加の可能性及び、参加を促す為の方策検討を目的に、まず、新興住宅地住民の属性や近隣関係、まちづくりに対する考えなど住民意識を明らかにした。<br><b>方法</b>奈良県T町の新興住宅地の全世帯を対象にアンケート調査を実施した。全戸を訪問し調査票を配付し（留守宅は郵便受けに投函）、回収は郵送で行った。配付数249票、有効回収数は80票(32.1％)だった。調査期間は2013年11～12月である。<br><b>結果</b>回答者は20代・30代の若年層が47％、40代・50代の中年層が29％、60代以上の高年層が24％であった。他世代に比べ高年層の近隣関係は希薄な傾向があり、深い関係も望んでいなかった。まちづくり活動の認知度は高く、活動への評価も高い。見に行く程度で活動に関わったことのある人は殆どいないが、参加・協力したい人は若年層・高年層で3割、中年層で2割いた。また、ボランティア活動への関心は高年層で高く、参加意欲は中年層で高かった。まちづくり活動への参加可能性は少なからず見込めると考えられ、今後、参加を促す方策を検討したい。<br>※本研究は平成25年度科学研究費（課題番号23500924）の助成を受けて実施されたものの一端である。

　View Summary

The purpose of this study is to collect data required for the control of odor in home care environments. We investigated the odor emission scene in home care environment. There are the following two in investigation of this study. In primary investigation, odors of the emission scene in elderly person's rooms were measured by the gas sensor. In secondary investigation, we measured the odors of the emission scene in elderly person's rooms by olfactory measurement method and gas chromatograph. Measurement items were odor concentration, odor Intensity, odor quality and odor component concentration.
