Recently, more and more hearing person starts learning sign language. For finger motion skill learning such as sign language, it is important for an expert to give objective advice to a learner, because the learner is not able to find any motion errors in his/her sign language. In other words the learner needs the self-education tool of sign language which gives good objective advice. However, there are few studies about such a system. In this paper, we developed a finger motion skill learning support system using data gloves. This system helps a learner to recognize motion errors intuitively by himself/herself by overlaying skilled person's 3D models with learner's 3D models of hands and fingers. (C) 2014 The Authors. Abstract A lot of studies about support for motion skill learning are conducted. However, any studies about comparisons of the motion of the right and left have not been conducted, such as batting of the baseball. In this study, For the learner of the level that can be modeled on the side-handed motion, I have the final goal is to support the non-side-handed motion skill through the learner's own side-handed motion data is a model by reversing. For this reason, I conducted the analysis of literality of the learner in consideration of sports career. By selected the target motion on the basis of that, I aim to construct of leaning support environment.

Existing application software for touch typing training cannot diagnose fingering errors. In this background, we developed a skill learning environment for touch typing training that can diagnose fingering errors by recognizing fingers with color markers by image recognition technique. In this research, we developed not only a learning support environment for experimental group, but also another learning environment for control group. We evaluated the learning environment that can diagnose fingering errors for experimental group, by comparing with another learning environment for control group.

It is necessary to acquire not only specialized knowledge but also appropriate nursing skills in nursing education. In this paper, we propose an e-learning system model to support a high level of technique learning, such as "tacit knowledge" and "proficient art" in nursing skills, which have been heretofore learned only from experience. This e-learning system enables self-learning in addition to intellectual learning, thereby enhancing knowledge of procedures and understanding of nursing skills. The results of evaluation experiments showed that each system had learning effects. However, simultaneously, they indicated the importance of the capability of self-training with actual trial-and-error to acquire skills. For that reason, adding "check point learning" to the already developed cognitive learning support system as a new function, we made improvements to provide nursing skills training covering detailed items. Based on this, we propose step-by-step learning after completing learning in the cognitive domain through spiral learning, which is the first step (from intellectual learning support to skill learning support again to intellectual learning support), learners move on to the second step (technique learning support) in a phased manner. We think that other evaluation given by instructors by checking between the first and second steps, as well as checking self-leaning, reduces the sense of loneliness, which is a common pitfall an e-learning, and which provides satisfaction with self-learning outcomes and a motivation for additional learning development. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

Although some learning environments for motor skills were proposed and developed in preceding researches, most of them show learners experts' motions by video picture or animation. The learner sometimes cannot recognize the motion well or cannot mimic the motion well by the method, because learner's viewpoint is always located outside of the expert's motion and sometimes the viewpoint is fixed. To solve this problem, we propose and develop a skill learning environment for posture and motion with life-size bone model using augmented reality. We evaluated the effect of the learning environment by an experiment.
